Orange County is home for Thunder Pro Construction. Our shop is at 77 Lawrence Ave in New Windsor, roughly in the middle of the county’s eastern half, so most Orange County addresses are within a 30-minute drive. That is why the bulk of our roof replacements, repairs, siding and gutter jobs happen here — from the river towns of Newburgh, Cornwall and Highland Falls to Middletown, Goshen and Monroe further west.
The housing stock changes a lot from one end of the county to the other. Along the Hudson we work on Victorians, brick row houses and hillside homes; around Washingtonville, Monroe and the Route 17 corridor it is mostly colonials, raised ranches and newer subdivisions. Winters bring heavy snow, ice dams and nor’easters, and summer thunderstorms knock limbs onto roofs — so a good share of our Orange County work starts with a storm.
