Emergency roof leak repair showing tarping and spot fixes
Roof leak and storm damage repair

Roof Repair in Orange County, NY.

Roof leak repair, missing and blown-off shingles, failed flashing around chimneys and walls, cracked pipe boots and storm damage. We find where the water is actually getting in, fix the cause instead of caulking over it, and tarp active leaks the same day when a crew is available.

REPAIR TYPES

Most leaks come from a handful of places

Water rarely enters where the stain shows up. We trace it back to the source and repair the part of the roof that failed.

01
Most Common

Shingle & Wind Damage Repair

Missing, creased or lifted shingles replaced and hand-sealed so the next storm does not peel more of them off.

—Color-matched replacement shingles—Hand-sealed tabs around the repair—Check of the surrounding area for loose shingles
02
Leak Source

Flashing & Chimney Leak Repair

New step, counter and chimney flashing where walls, dormers and chimneys meet the roof — the most common leak point we find.

—Old flashing removed, not caulked over—Counter-flashing cut into masonry—Pipe boots and vents resealed
03
Same-Day

Emergency Leak & Tarp Service

When water is coming in, we tarp the damaged area to protect the house and come back with a permanent repair quote.

—Tarp secured without new holes in good shingles—Photos for your insurance claim—Permanent repair scheduled as soon as weather allows
EARLY WARNING

things to consider

01
Warning 01

Ceiling or Wall Stains

A stain inside usually means water has been getting in for a while; the source can be several feet away.

02
Warning 02

Shingles in the Yard

Missing shingles leave nail holes and underlayment exposed to the next rain.

03
Warning 03

Caulk-Covered Flashing

Lots of tar or caulk around a chimney or wall means earlier repairs were patched instead of fixed.

04
Warning 04

Ice Dams in Winter

Ice buildup at the eaves forces water under shingles and points to ventilation or insulation problems.

QUESTIONS

Things people actually ask.

More questions? Call (845) 234-9871 or request an estimate — we don't believe in pressure sales.

How fast can you come out for a roof leak?
Active leaks get priority. When a crew is available we can often inspect and tarp the same day in Orange County.
How much does a roof repair cost?
It depends on the cause — a pipe boot or a few shingles is a small job, while rebuilding chimney flashing takes longer. We give a written price after the inspection, before any work starts.
Can you match my existing shingles?
We match color and profile as closely as possible. On older or discontinued shingles a small color difference can show until the new shingles weather in.
Should I repair or replace my roof?
If the roof is fairly young and the damage is in one area, repair it. If it is over 20 years old with problems in several places, a replacement is usually the better use of money. We will show you photos and explain why.
Do you help with storm damage insurance claims?
Yes. We photograph the damage, write up the repair scope and can meet the adjuster on site.
