Working in Dutchess County
Dutchess County is right across the Newburgh–Beacon Bridge from our New Windsor shop, so Beacon, Fishkill and Wappingers Falls are often closer to us than parts of our own county. We cross the river regularly for roof replacements, leak repairs, siding and gutter work, and Poughkeepsie is an easy run up Route 9.
The east side of the Hudson has a lot of older housing. Beacon and Poughkeepsie have many late-1800s and early-1900s homes with steep roofs, slate or several layers of old shingles, and brick chimneys with flashing that has been patched many times. Further inland, around Fishkill, Hopewell Junction and LaGrange, we mostly see colonials and split-levels from the 1970s through the 1990s that are now due for their second roof.
One bridge away
The Newburgh–Beacon Bridge connects our shop to southern Dutchess in minutes, keeping travel time short.
Older homes
Beacon and Poughkeepsie houses often need multi-layer tear-offs, decking repairs and rebuilt chimney flashing.
Second-roof suburbs
Fishkill and LaGrange subdivisions built from the 1970s to 1990s are reaching the end of their second roof.

Do you work on the east side of the Hudson?
Yes. We regularly work in Beacon, Fishkill, Wappingers Falls and Poughkeepsie. The Newburgh–Beacon Bridge makes southern Dutchess one of the quickest areas for us to reach.
Can you replace a roof on an older Beacon or Poughkeepsie home?
Yes. We remove all old layers, repair or replace the decking, and rebuild the flashing at chimneys and walls before installing the new roof.
